Welcome to ERWE's world. Many people have toiled, oh so many volunteers, to bring you** yes, you** this stuff. Enjoy your stay and feel free to read it and let us know your thoughts, or any issues you may encounter. Peace, from all the folks who had a hand in this. We hope you enjoy.

Where we are from?

The place is Nagan Lor, a small residence in Jogja. The date is sometime in the late 2003's. The band consisted of five guys who would change the way many listen to music. This is the day ERWE was born** the day Bara [2003-2007], W2k, Aby, Lookass and surely FJ got together on a small gig and started to jam putting in motion what would become a Jogja, and world wide, legacy.
They wrote some tracks, drank some booze & smoked some cheap cigarettes, started a record label, drank some booze & smoked some cheap cigarettes, recorded an album, then most likely had another drink or two before unleashing it onto the streets. For years they traveled and performed all over, initiating unfortunate sponsorships and selling discs where ever they could.
ERWE has always been much more than just music. It is everything to everyone: a culture, a revolution, a lifestyle, and a family.

THE CHRONICLE

August 8, 2003 was the beginning we met each others. After oh-so long we looked for destination unknown, eventually we found one soul, one mind and one aim which united into the formation that probably we could rely on.

Back to the past, we played Reggae for the very first time, then on our development forward we were braver BEYOND THE LIMIT with mixing miscellaneous music genres, at least increasing more nuances and styles on ERWEs music. We named it as Rawx Reggae. But for the simpler and clearer, next we called it ALIRAN ERWE.

ERWE is just an ordinary name with unimportant meaning for us.

Now with our formation, our struggling and of course our determination, we always hope ERWE can show all the people that ERWE comes up with bringing sophisticated music maybe[^_^] also meaningful and can be accepted by all music lovers not only in Indonesia, yet in all over the world.
