Epitome started in late 2004 with only two members (Nick, J.R.) and went through several lineup changes between 2005 and 2006. In mid-2006 Tim and Dylan joined the band which provided more opportunities for the band in the guitar riffs and drum beats. In early 2007 Jordan joined the band completing the 5-piece with his amazing singing voice and his bass riffs. With influences such as As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, and As Blood Runs Black, Epitome puts out a straight metal sound with not only heavy breakdowns and fast progressions but beautiful melodies as well.
