Ephyra was formerly known as CrystalWaxDolls when it first formed in 2002. Upon realising their similar music taste, their line-up changed and Ephyra was born. Keeping 4 of their existing members, (Yirun, Redha, Adam & Hakim) Ian then replaced their old vox to start anew with the band. Back then CrystalWaxDolls was seen as more of a Alternative cum Emo band. Now with the whole band charged with their individual uniqueness, Ephyra aims to bring a new perspective in the post-hardcore/screamo/emocore field. Through their music Ephyra hopes to open the eyes of many who walk among the rest, lifeless and blind to the truth. As for now, there never existed reality it was either a dream or a nightmare. Ephyra has taken a break but has now bounced back slowly with a change in their roles as a band. A more-matured sounding and focused Ephyra has invited u all, to inhale us in and enjoy the ride.
