I've been in a creative flow recently. Layed out the ground work for 3 new songs in the last 5 days and finished up the one I posted today (Obedience) which has been collecting dust in it's own little folder for over a year.
It's nice to be back in the groove. Some times, and I'm sure all of the other artists out there can relate, you just get stuck. You want to write, but you can't. You hear a beat and you try to lay it down but you lose it before you can get your recording drug of choice ready. It can be quite frustrating... But I'm on the positive side of the digital fence for now. Keep coming back because I'm sure there will be more posted again soon.

This past weekend, I discovered the bane of the electronic musician... My computer died. That's right, in the words of Beetlejuice "dead dead deadskee."
While creating a new combi patch for my latest drum line I started getting some strange 1 second lock ups... ruuuuuun, lock, ruuuuuuun, lock, ruuuuun, lock.... I restarted thinking it was some rogue process causing problems. Now I can't even boot up at all. Just checks the disk drives and locks up. After a couple of hours of troubleshooting I found that the problem is most likely my motherboard and it needs to be replaced. This means I'll be down for the next week or more until I can order another one and have it shipped.
Fortunately, I can access the site from work. Unfortunately, I had a new jam almost ready to post. Guess it'll have to wait.

Just another day behind the keys. Been in a writing slump recently, but all of you musicians know how that is.
I've been dragging my feat on getting new material up here... I'd love to say I'll have some more this weekend, but if it didn't happen I'd be a liar. And we can't have that, now can we?
