The Enlighted Story begun to be written at early 2009 in the southern Buenos Aires - Argentina when Rodrigo Gudina (guitars) and Guillermo Demedio (keyboards), members of the band Ariadna Project decided to move on and start to work on a new project.

In January 2009 Rodrigo got together with the swedish singer Thomas Vikstrom (very well known by acts like Therion, Brazen Abbot, Candlemass etc.) and offered him to be part of this new band, still nameless, and Thomas accepted it.

The line up of the band was completed by Alan Fritzler on drums and Pit Barrett on bass and by the end of February, already under the name of Enlighted the recording process of "Time to Fly" was started at La Nave de Oseberg Studios in Buenos Aires - Argentina.

After several months of work the recording, mixing and mastering were finished, and finally in December 2009 the EP Time To Fly was released worldwide by the digital label DontPayMusic.com and it's available complete for free download along with its original full resolution artwork.

Enlighted started 2010 working on the new songs for their upcoming debut. The full album will be recorded in Buenos Aires in middle 2010, so be prepared to be enlightened ;)
