Empyrean is many things but above all, a band on the edge of mainstream with and underground influence sitting on the verge of breaking out. With blistering hooks and graceful melodies, the music covers everything from high energy epics to dark, vibey introspection, and faces subject matter from religion, to society, relationships and inner turmoil. Empyrean was formed in 2001 by brothers Mike and Adam DeLancett with the intent of creating a form of music that was deeply emotional and spiritual, yet reflected their "take no shit" dispositions and hard-headed ambitions and determination. After a few line up changes Empyrean as it now stands is the remaining material from nearly five straight years of writing, revision, and recording. Enjoy!
