The Emklem project was created in december 2004 by Emilie Clem (author and compositor).Following four years of concerts and studio recordings within a pop-rock band as well as various collaborations (Lunatic Age/BMG, Oleg et Zim/La Baleine...), E.Clem decides to create her own rock-fusion band: Emklem.
She adopts the artistic direction she wishes and enters the Studio des Varietes in Paris where she works with professionnals .At the moment she is co-working with Guillaume Andre.
Influenced by the anglo-saxon rock, this band offers a powerful and melancolic music, overwhelmed by incisive and airy melodies.
Emilie's voice is described as "rare" in the rock industry and allows the audience to feel the most extrem emotions.Emklem exploses when on stage.Emilie shows a double personality and allows her dark side out through the lyrics and her attitude.Her three "partners" give it back to her to the perfection.We can not be unaware of her stamina and mood swings, revealing either a little innocent girl or a strong and decided women.
