I am assuming that no one will ever read this so I will speak the truth. Embargo started off as a two piece acoustic punk band. Jason had a little more hectic time trying to play shows so I ended up playing either by myself or canceling. We decided it was for the best to play separate acoustic acts. So whenever he could play a show, there would two bands rather than one. Jason's Train Ride Revolution was born. I went on as embargo playing a number of shows around the Charleston area and 1 show in Palm Coast, Florida thanks to the band Ellis and Nicholas. For one reason or another, I abandoned the embargo project. In this time I worked again with Jason to start and amazing band called The Visionaries as well as Dominate Society. Once again killed by commitment. So embargo was born again. This time looking to follow no rules of any genre, and just create good music. Not always necessarily pleasing to the ear, but good music. The songs are written and performed by me (Nick Allison) and produced by Mitch Webb (he makes the songs better than they actually are.) Be on the look out for A full length some time in 2009.
