El Regreso del Coelacanto se formo en 1991 en Rosario y luego de varios anios fue encontrando su molde basado en una formacion rockera contundente que aborda ritmos y melodias no tan convencionales para el genero, a traves de un sonido muy personal anclado en la combinacion de violin, acordeon, muchas voces y mucha potencia. Este plan estetico gira cada vez mas en torno a la cancion.
Luego de dos producciones independientes (Segui Participando - 1999 y Esperando que caiga la pelota - 2002, ambos reeditados) la banda publica en 2007 su tercer album, Bailen Giles, con la produccion artistica de Pablo Romero, cantante de Arbol.

El Regreso del Coelacanto is an Argentinian band that formed in Rosario in 1991. After a few years playing, theyve found their oun style based on a rock formation that plays rhythms and melodies that are not so convencional for the genre, made through a very personal sound based on the combination of the violin, accordion, lot of voices and very much power. This aesthetic plan turns increasingly around the song .
After two independent productions( Segui Participando- keep participating -1999 and Esperando Que Caiga La Pelota-Hoping That The Ball Falls Down- 2002, both reditated) the band publish in 2007 their third album called Bailen Giles-Dance Sillyes-, that counts with the artistic production of the producer Pablo Romero, that is also Arbols singer.
