America's most distinguished art is often its most regional, and no region is so fierce in its individuality –its singularity of voice – as the South. Its rich tradition has given birth to the Delta Blues, Zydeco, Gospel, and Rock & Roll, and the landscape of the South continues to produce characters with just as much individuality in their art as Flannery O'Conner, Robert Johnson, or Elvis Presley. Eliot Morris has to be considered one of the best and most important to step out recently.

Raised in a home filled with art, music…and kids (six of them), it was in 1995 at JH Ranch where Sevier Productions first noticed that Eliot possessed all the tangibles and intangibles of star. After helping the Pierces achieve a deal with Epic, Sevier Productions began working with Eliot, putting forth a tremendous effort and recording over 80 songs. Once a third record was complete, Sevier Productions was finally able to convince Conrad Rafield, an awesome shopping agent, to shop Eliot's deal. Based on a number of factors, Eliot caught the attention of Gary Gersh, whose skill for discovering significant talents like Nirvana, Counting Crows, Hole, and The Mars Volta, has made an indelible impact on the landscape of American music. Gersh recognized a fresh point of view in Eliot's talents as we had, and signed Eliot to his Strummer Universal Records. It is suffice it to say that Gersh has not been alone in his excitement; Eliot has made a tremendous impression opening for Counting Crows, John Mayer, and Mindy Smith among others. Eliot was the second artist that Sevier Productions worked with in which a major label deal was forth coming. He is currently managed by one of the best managers in the industry, Gary Borman. The clips and tracks for sale on this site were recorded before Eliot signed to Strummer. We encourage everyone to buy his first major label release.
