South Georgia's fastest-rising Contemporary Christian Rock Group, with dual-tight "Eagles-style" Worship-Rock that has become a live "must-see.
The group members come from all over the South Georgia area, each from a variety of backgrounds, each with different past careers, talents, and various age differences. Having such differences has actually benefited the band, giving them a much wider audience base.
Elijah Ride's journey began through the inventiveness of Nick Mclellan, of AfterHours Productions, in Tifton, GA; and with his connections with 95.3 the Hook FM, based in Ashburn, GA. In just their first year together, they were blessed with more opportunities than ever imagined, including being able to play before such acts as: Audio Adrenaline, Point of Grace, Newsong, Kutless, Jars of Clay, Rachel Lampa, Overflow, Jubal's Kin, and others. And this is just the beginning.

this is a review from nationally syndicated Dan McIntosh, from Indie-music.com...
Artist: Elijah Ride
CD: Self-Titled
Home: South Georgia
Style: Christian Pop/Gospel
Quote: "Elijah Ride, in the end, is one memorable musical trip."
By Dan MacIntosh
Elijah Ride makes explicitly Christian music, which may appeal to fans of Jars Of Clay and Caedmons Call. In fact Crashing Down, the opener here, sounds a whole lot like Jars Of Clays Flood, and even matches that hit song's intensity.
Each CD track contains a spiritual message, with Levitate rising to the top of the bunch. This single-worded work puts the topic of going to heaven in a whole new, heightened mystical perspective. Other notable selections include Never Be the Same, which is a quiet worshipful song that might just remind you of Princes Purple Rain. The overall mood of this recording is mostly quietly intense, although Be Free closes the proceedings with a gutsy lead vocal, along with a big rock guitar solo. The only song that comes up a tad short is titled Where Were You. This one takes a slightly pushy approach to dealing with the opinions of non-believers.
This is a fine release because of its strong songwriting and tight vocals -- the group's two best qualities. Elijah Ride, in the end, is one memorable musical trip.

guys, just wondering....
this new modern fad of Christian bands not placing even one mention of Jesus Christ in their lyrics.....wazzup with that???
wasn't it Jesus Himself who said that "if you are ashamed of me (and my name), at the Day of Judgement, I will be likewise of you"....remember bands, that the treasures you obtain here on earth, you will have already obtained...i personally, look forward to my eternal, heavenly rewards....
please post your thoughts.....
thanks guys...

You guys are awesome and I agree I hate when bands say
they are christian and then they don\'t mention God and
cuss and stuff. You guys keep holding strong, and I was
