Blues / Jam Band / Jazz
Coming together in the fall of 2006, Jeremy Blas and Kevin McGrath formed the beginnings of what is now the Eleven80’s. With Jeremy on guitar and Kevin on bass, Jack Murphy and Brian Deinhart were later recruited in the winter of 2006 to play drums and saxophone respectively. DJay Smith joined the group in spring of 2008 to provide the last facet of Eleven80’s sound: vocals. Mixing the complexity of jazz with the soulful feeling of blues in a jam-band atmosphere, The Eleven80’s have formed a unique sound not found anywhere else.

Uhh the eleven eighties- eleven EIGHTIES- on guitar J.
Blas. Some suggest- SOME WOULD SUGGEST-that, uhh he
plays a pretty mean guitar. Uhh gentlemen this group
is, uhhhh, pretty effective. I would say that after one
of their shows, whuwasthat Willie?, after...one of
their SHOWS, you'll be so moved by the music that,
uhhh, you'll be walking like my son Mark.
