Atlanta-based band Elevation is influenced by generations of classic rock; they dig deep into their musical souls to reveal spiritual, uplifting, often personal songs. Members Nathan Smith, Andrew Averso, Stephen Bailey, Chase Schell, and Luke Hickok intend to entertain and inspire a broad spectrum of listeners. Their sound has been compared to bands like Oasis, Queen and Jet; Elevation has the ambition to match.
Vocalist, Nathan Smith, formed Elevation in 2002. Years later the five-piece lineup plays as a band of brothers. The members have developed unshakable friendships while synthesizing an irreplaceable sound destined to carry this band to greatness. Touring the nation and attracting fans wherever they go, Elevation and their enigmatic live performances are loaded with melodic hooks and theatrical rock flourishes.
The bands debut album Strangelove was recorded in Atlanta in the winter of 2007. The album was produced by Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, King Konga, Aaron Shust) and mastered by Grammy Award winner Adam Ayan (Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Incubus). Strangelove will be released on April 1st of 2008 by 50 Records/SONY/RED.
