The band in their current line-up has been together for about 10 months and in Nottingham have already played Rock City, The Marcus Garvey Ballroom, Rescue Rooms, Stealth and The Social with the likes of Little Man Tate, The Sunshine Underground, The Hedrons, Fortune Drive, Dartz! And Keith. The band has also played dates in Leeds, Sheffield and Peterborough.

Electric Mouth have recently won two Battle of the Band competitions, one of which has rewarded them with a gig supporting a top band at the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street, London in February.

Electric Mouth is James Metcalf (vocals, guitar) Josh Shinner (bass, vocals) Tom Hopwood (guitar, vocals) and George Wilson (drums). And by pumping the pulse of rock back into the clogging indie veins, Electric Mouth try to create a sound that's been missing for too long. They encompass a wide variety of influences and styles, combining chunky rock riffs and solos with big choruses, danceable beats and catchy melodies aimed at making feet move and pulses race.

In live performances the enthusiasm, energy and genuine excitement about playing really shows and the audience respond to this, which creates a great atmosphere in any venue. There has also been some hefty praise from The Mic, URN Radio, Leftlion.co.uk, Glasswek.co.uk and BBC Nottingham.
