EISLEY - Bio-sketch
Considered an indie on a major Eisley was formed in 1997 after youngest sibling wrote their first song at age 8. Opportunities to perform in local coffee house/venue opened doors to play hundreds of shows as unsigned indie for 4 years until an opening slot at a 21+ bar in Denton, Tx gave the under-agers visibility to club owners in DFW who pushed them into a prime slot at the Dallas New Music Festival in Fall 2002 where the Deep Ellum movers/shakers attended and began spreading the word rapidly.

Within 2 weeks - major label scouts, managers, club owners, the Dallas press, attorneys, etc. came to see young MossEisley play in front of a crazed, packed-out home crowd at the bands favorite club - The Door. Hype and press followed resulting in endless LA/NY showcases giving Eisley top pick from a long list of majors witch concluded in a contract with bands fav' - Warner Bros in early 2003.

Two EP's, two LP's later, Eisley has enjoyed many opportunities to tour the world, tour the US, share the stage with bands like Coldplay and The Fray at venues like the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden and Red Rocks, play before millions on Late Night television, perform at festivals like Coachella, V-Fest and Austin City Limits.

Past tours and highlights include: Coldplay (Rush of BTH US/Canada tour), Brand New (Deja Entendu Tour), Snow Patrol (Final Straw Tour), Yahoo Sponsored Eisley headlining tour, New Found Glory (Catalyst Tour - 60 shows), Switchfoot (Nothing is Sound Tour), Taking Back Sunday (Louder Now Tour - Aus/UK), The Fray (How to Save a Life Tour), Mute Math (Reset Tour), plus TONS of Eisley headlining tours and festivals: Coachella, V-Fest (UK), Voo- Doo Fest, Reading and Leeds Festivals - UK.

Eisley made their TV debut on Conan O'brien in August 2007, played Sun Dance Film Festival in January 2008 and the Belaroya Hall in Seattle in Fall 2008 backed by an 80 piece orchestra and children's choir for a Children's Hospital Benefit - conducted by film scoring/composer Mateo Messina (Juno film score) and is now working on their 3rd LP for Warner's and are pushing for an early Fall release followed by continued endless touring/ connecting with their fans.

Reviews (of "Combinations")

Nylon Magazine "This is Quintessential Eisley: relentlessly positive, but with an undertow of sadness. Their music sounds like something hobbits might make on a rainy day in the Shire, or harmonies ABBA might sing on Halloween. It's beautiful. It's otherworldly."

Entertainment Weekly Review "...the DuPree kids expand their sound - contrasting soaring, Radiohead-aping vocals with big-bottomed prog-rock grooves."

- Kerrang London, England. "The girls' voices are as angelic as they are disturbing, pitch perfect - amazingly so, in fact - but their harmonies full of spectral sorrow and deep-rooted despair"

- Texas Monthly "Combinations: is album two, and it's the proverbial time to deliver. That they do..."

- Spin Magazine "Remember the '70s? Neither do they (eisley), but that doesn't stop 'em." Throughout Combinations, the DuPree sisters augment the slow-moving indie pop of their 2005 debut full-length with dramatic prog-guitar lines and shades of Fleetwood Mac's warm soft-rock glow."

- Pop Matters "The album proves Eisley to be masters of melody, strong lyricists, and capable of evoking a whole combination of emotions."

-Boston Globe Review "...Eisley is a darker and more aggressive than ever before..."

-AP Magazine "Lone Star's plaintive pop stars muscle up, but stay lovely."

-Houston Chronicle "...dirgelike lyricism against thrashing instrumentation that could fill an arena."

-Absolute Punk.net "...Combinations proves to be their best work to date. ...Combinations proves to be the perfect end of summer/beginning of fall album. "
