PureVolume

EF is a five piece band from Gothenburg - Sweden. It all started under quite human circumstances in May 2003, and soon we stood in a small basement and created quite heavy music. It didnt took long for us to find that melodies, emotions and explosions was more interesting.

During the first 3 years we've recorded and released 4 CD-R demos and done a bunch of shows all around in Sweden.

The summer of 2005 we came in contact with US label Raise the Red Flag. We decided to coop - not yet accomplished.

First European tour took place during 3 weeks in October/November 2005. We did 16 shows.

First proper release was the 2 track 7" released by independent label Jezebel Recordings in November 2005.

The debut full lenght album "Give me beauty... Or give me death!" was released in May 2006 by Swedish label And the Sound Records. It was followed by a 12 day European tour.

"Give me beauty... Or give me death!" was also licensed to Japan based label Thomason Sound (a division of Inpartmaint.com) for a release 5th of July.

ef will play a few Scandinavian festivals the summer of 2006, and in September they hit the roads of Europe once again!
