The Racine WI-based post hardcore/ rock band East of You formed in June 2005 as the result of breakups of a few former bands. Clint Hancock and Connor Draves are the two original members, along with Tokin Webb on vocals, and Justin Miller on bass. Their former drummer David Blascoe was with them for a good amount of shows and an EP but decided to leave the band for various reasons on a pleasant note. In February good friend and amazing percussionist Austin Spika joined the band and their sound is only escalating, check them out in a show sometime soon. The creativity of East of You is mostly due to their diverse musical background and tastes that range from metal to reggae to punk and underground drum and bass, and every other post-genre category the "scene" can think of.
