Hey waddup-- my name is derek and i want to tell you about how i like writing and recording songs. I won't go into detail about my journey from boy to man, but basically it all started with a band called The Walking. Me and my bud collin just started gettin way into recording and jammin and stuff. then collin and i started going our seperate directions with song writing and song styles and so forth so we decided that we would each have our own solo projects. that's when d.walk was born, so i play all the instruments and try to sing on it.
i'd like to note that DRU MURRAY sings on World Domination, COLLIN KING plays synth on summer nights, and JUSTIN WALKER plays percussion on broken stereo. Also CARLOS SANTANA plays the solo on trust in the stars. while i'm in this mood, i'd like to say that BRADFORD DAVIS is my #2 consultant, MY MOTHER is my number #1 consultant, TREY RICHARDS straight up inspires me to use my imagination and also to follow your dreams (he just barely got a 4.0), MY FATHER is my finaincial adivisor (and provider), MICHAEL JACKSON did not produce my album, STEPHEN WELLING inspired the iceberg theme on the song blue eyes. BEN BARRUS was the first person to hear a D.Walk song (blue eyes). ANNONYMOUS GIRLS are what all of my songs (the ones that are about girls) are about. ALEXANDRA TANNER didn't really do anything, even though her name appears in the titles of 2 different songs. JAMES POULSEN is playing bass for us for the next two shows. CHASE CALL just barely did his eagle project, and is gonna start a solo project called triple shot chase. IKE BRADSHAW is my extreme walking bud. dude MEGAN KEDDINGTON has no idea what f. stover means, ALEX MONSON inspired 'peace' on broken stereo.
