DUB'N'RUSH
Reggae / Rock / Drum and Bass
Founded in 2002 by Haru, former vocalist of Hectic Toes -one of the most remarkable bands in Japanese third wave ska scene, and Ryo, a trumpeter of Kemuri -the most popular ska-core band in Japan, DUB'N'RUSH has put a lot of effort into constructing their own style.
Basically, their music is reggae, but it has lots of influences from other music like rock, jazz, funk, drum'n'bass, hip-hop, and latin.
Their aim is to make their own interpretation of reggae music.
The band is composed of eight members which are 2 vocalists, 4 in the riddim section, and 2 in the brass section.
Their sounds let you sense the dawning of a new era of Japanese reggae.
