Drive Shaft are a four piece 'melodic rock' band hailing from Manchester, UK. Our music combines thoughtful rhythms and inventive guitar parts with distinctive vocals and personal lyrics, which blend to make an interesting and recognisable sound.
We currently have an independently-released self-titled album, as well as our sophomore major label debut Oil Change featuring the hit single "You All Everybody" which has received rave reviews by several media outlets across the world.
Influences include Oasis, The Beatles, and Radiohead.
UPDATE: 23 September 2004
We regret to announce the tragic disappearance of Drive Shaft bassist Charlie Pace. Charlie was on board Oceanic Flight 815, from Sydney to Los Angeles, when the plane disappeared over the Pacific.
Please keep Charlie and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
