With a spectacular 2007 and a promising 2008 ahead of them. DRED have been managing to get gigs and support slots throughout Hampshire and the surrounding areas. This Petersfield based 5 - piece Metal act are starting to get known in local areas and by local bands. "Their energetically fuelled live stage performance will leave you feeling as if you've just been hit in the face by a bus". Our band has members aged 14-17.

Recently they have played a SOLD OUT show at the Community Centre in Alton with Alzir, Point Of Impact and Bucephalus.
This is what the owner of the Lounge Bar said:
"DRED... were probably the biggest surprise. They have gigged at the bar before, but not for such a big crowd and they were a shock to the older (over 16) generation at the venue. Their sound was very well developed and particular mention has to go to their drummer who stood out amongst the tracks as an incredibly talented player. With Another Sold out show under their belts this is what the owner of the lounge bar had to say.
30th March, Battle For Bloodstock - Such a sweet band of genuinely lovely people who are fresh faced, youthful and friendly. So what happens when they get on stage?! They are brutal, thrashing through their set as if there is no tomorrow. They have the presence of a band who have played for years and an exuberance and confidence that normally accompanies experience and years of practise. They couldn't have had that experience and practise though: they can't even vote yet, so they must just be talented. This is definitely a band to watch develop further, and they impressed the judges immensely. Voted through to the top of the heat, they didn't get there because of their age, they got there despite it: quite an achievement for them to be proud of. " - Catherine- Astra + Lounge Bar
