1/12/06 - A GREAT NIGHT AT SEVEN! -
After the hell that this past Saturday was, this was certainly the gig to lift our spirits. We played the Seven Bar in Hamburg to a good crowd. Seeing it was a Wednesday night, we figured we'd only see a few cars. It turns out the parking lot was packed and it was the first time we've had a good crowd in ages. We played two sets of songs to a very welcoming and responsive group of people. We'd like to thank all those who came out and helped make it a great night, and we look forward to gracing the stage at Seven again real soon!

1/9/06 - BILLIEBOB'S SHOW A BUST, BUT WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN! -
We in Dravidian would personally like to announce our disgust in many fickle fans. We were told by many people that they would be present at the show, only to arrive to under 10 people. If you don't want to come to the show, tell us, and don't inform us you will be there. Obviously, another show at BillieBob's appears to be out of the cards, and we are persuing other venues. We are sick and tired of wasting our time at venues such as BillieBob's and the Korner Kaffe, making an effort to entertain and beg to those who care not to show. This is definitely a learning experience for us, and even though it was a bad night, it also has allowed us to be a little bit stronger, a little bit smarter, and absolutely a little bit ballsier. We're coming away from this show with some fire in our bellies, and will pump that fire into the upcoming show at Seven Bar and into our future plans. Believe us, we have many great plans for this summer, such as benefits, lawn fetes, festivals, and some shows in larger cities, and seeing most of those fall outside of our original circle of venues, it seems you'll miss out on an up-and-coming band that is going to shoot to the moon. We think we're a fucking good band, and even though that might sound arrogant, we won't stop doing what we love until everyone knows what real music is in these tainted times. To hell with the nay sayers, we don't want you anymore, and we don't need you! We would like to thank the few fans that have been loyal to the band as well as Jimmy Wood for performing his debut show under difficult circumstances without his duo partner and playing to practically no one.

12/21/05 - DEMO RELEASE COMING SOON -
Dravidian has been contacted by our friends at MooCow that the demo should be ready for distribution in early-mid January. There is a chance that we may have copies available at our BillieBob's and Seven Bar shows.

12/12/05 - MUCH MORE TO COME ON OUR PUREVOLUME PAGE -
Due to the update process on PureVolume.com, a couple of great changes will be coming on this page. One feature we will soon utilize is the new blog section, which we will use as a way to give you more information with what goes on both on stage and behind the scenes in Dravidian. This will also work as a great archive where people can look back and reflect on past moments. Another great feature which has been added is the comments section, which we feel will be a great way for fans all around the PureVolume world to give us a shout out. By January these changes should be complete, so keep posted.
