Down In Shades are playing Stoner Rock with a nice serving of Doom plus tough weighty riffing and some of those melodies, you wont forget so far. The band was founded as three-piece in late 2003, and dedicated itself to Stoner Rock immediately: distinctive melodies along with some kind of modern bad ass riffing and some funeral tempests of Doom. Later on a fourth freak completed the band with his delighting clean vocals and his damn heavy growls. Down In Shades have had the chance to play their heavy fucking sound live in and around Dresden several times and are up to crack up the stages here and everywhere in the future. The first 4-track demo-CD "By Your Grave" released in summer of 2005 got some positive reviews and may sign the way these four guys from Eastern Germany will take to conquer the underground.
