Phew, still trying to figure out how all the Purevolume hosting works... Anyway, hope youre all doing great... Just so you know whats happening in the Donots camp these days - heres a little update for you all!

1) !!! DONOTS "THE STORY SO FAR - IBBTOWN CHRONICLES" Street Date November 24 2006 !!!

You might have already heard it - we have finally parted company with GUN Records/Supersonic over here in Germany. After some 7 years we felt it was time for a change so we asked them to let us go. It took us about a year to finally get out of the deal but by now were free people and are happy to announce well be releasing a new album next year with an all-new team and label working for us. Expect a great new album (the demos sound amazing so far!) and a lot of international touring, too... We cant wait, folks! Anyway, therell be a final release on GUN Records/Supersonic scheduled for November 24 2006 entitled "THE STORY SO FAR - IBBTOWN CHRONICLES". Its sort of a DONOTS anthology from the years we spent with GUN Records. Itll be a double cd compilation containing all our singles, the hard-to-get b-sides and compilation tracks we recorded, a bunch of live songs plus 2 brand new songs we recorded for this one. All this comes with a big booklet containing liner notes and whatnot.

2) !!! "AMPLIFY THE GOOD YEAR 2006" Supports Confirmed !!!

Weve just confirmed the support bands for our traditional end of the year show "Amplify The Good Year 2006". The show will take place on the 29th of December 2006 and were very happy to announce that both FRANKY LEE from Sweden and FREUNDE DER NACHT/RUHE from Germany will be on board.

You may have heard of FRANKY LEE already. Theyre the newest addition to the Burning Heart Records Roster and are sort of an all-star band consisting of members of MILLENCOLIN, RANDY and THE PEEPSHOWS. Sounds good, eh? You should definetly check them out on www.myspace.com/frankyleeband... Were proud to tell you theyll be playing their German live debut on our show. Cant wait for that one, folks!

FREUNDE DER NACHT/RUHE is the solo project from Nagel, singer of Germanys highly acclaimed punkrock institution MUFF POTTER. And last but not least THE DONOTS will be performing a very special show that evening - expect a bunch of new tunes and a not so common setlist with a couple of big surprises...
