Hey, I appreciate you taking the time to check out my page and give me some feedback. You we're correct in assuming that this was my first spin at it. I have worked on a few other things, but had to use Phase-canceled instrumentals, and that just doesn't sound good at all. Nothing worth keeping. As far as (Daft Punk vs. GLaDOS) goes, I did this one while I was stuck at my house, waiting for the cable repair guys to come by. It only took me an hour or so to make. Not really my best effort, at all. From now on, my Mashes will be a bit more complex than that. I was just bored, trying to keep myself occupied. Some stuff to look forward to in the future, when I start getting a bit better, will be some Mashups including artists such as Coheed & Cambria, Atreyu, Silversun Pickups, Disturbed, Cute Is What We Aim For, Killswitch Engage, Thrice, Lacuna Coil, Fall Out Boy, Boston, 30 Seconds To Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, The Myriad, Paramore, Bloc Party, Hellogoodbye, Flyleaf, Muse, All American Rejects, The Killers, Flogging Molly, Shiny Toy Guns, Mastodon, AFI, Panic! At The Disco, Modest Mouse, System Of A Down, Linkin Park, REM, Jimmy Eat World, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc... Hopefully I'll get some new ones up soonish. My latest one is in the process of being tweaked a bit right now, so it could be up sometime in the near future. Anyways, thanks again for the comment and the feedback! -Nick Aug 13

Hey there man, just wanted to comment on your 'Stronger Faster & Still Alive' Mash up.. I first want to say, I find the whole concept of Mash-ups so exciting and in a way important for the music industry and for all the fans of the bands that are involved. It is great to see art portrayed in a different way, by a different artist, and basically it can make things that are old and stale, into something new, fresh and exciting again! I say this because I hope you continue to do mashups. I fully support artists who re-intepret music. And i hope with time you will start getting better! And now to be critically honest, your current mash-up was an obvious 'first start'(?). It was a bit boring and didn't excite me... I think the main fault of it, was the choice of song(s). It couldve been interesting, but it just seemed you took "still Alive" and prodded it with Daft Punk samples every now and then. Which, at the end of the day, came out a bit bland. I was hoping for a more 'heavier' integration of the two songs. At the end though, like i said before, I hope with experience you start making more mashups and start experimenting more with the different songs, mashing them up in such creative and unthought of ways! :-) You have all you need, the canvas (a recording program) and all the paint (the songs), now all you need to do is be creative and creat a new DJ Nivek painting! I envy you and all the people that have the talent to do this, so I wish you well! I will keep checking back often for more of your stuff!:-) Good luck, well done, and Peace! Simon Aug 10
