So I had my first comp lesson with my new professor (who is also my Theory professor) today. I was a little hesitant about having someone I didn't even know as the teacher, but my fears were relieved after the lesson. He really seems to know his stuff (even in the ballpark that I perfer to play in). Now I'm going to check out some of John Adams' and Steve Reich's work--a few people who we discussed after he listen to about five of my trance works. Woo-hoo! :) That's all for now...gotta apply for a job (yuck).
