Divided Trigger started as a band in the Winter of 04, when two musically talented musicians heard about a local music competition called the Sacramento Jammies. Darin and Richard had been in previous bands together, and knew they wanted to enter the Jammies. Darin Krejci(cray-chee) started on drums and Richard Mathews on the mic. Later, Evan Krejci became Divided Trigger's guitarist. Divided Trigger wrote their first songs as this trio. Later Divided Trigger recruited bass guitarists Joe Hovorka. Once the band was complete, the band sent in their video tape to the Jammies, and didn't get any word back. Divided Trigger knew they had to improve. Things weren't working out with Joe, so they added Aaaron Machoud on bass. Divided Trigger rapidly improved and started to plays at House Parties and venues like Club Retro. After a span of about 1 year, Divided Trigger knew they were missing something. Kill My Everything, a band that was a very talented and up-and-coming band, unfortunately broke up, so lead guitarist Justin Barnes was stuck looking for a band to play with. He came to Divided Trigger and wanted to give them a try, as did Divded Trigger wanting to give Justin a try. On the first practice, Richard, Evan, Darin, and Aaron, knew that Justin was the missing piece of Divided Trigger. Justin joined the band and is now set to conquer the local scene, and hopefully, conquer the national scene.
