Divided Amongst the Stars began 4 years ago as a two man project called "Psuedo Human." Back then it was just (current guitarists) Sean Snell and Jared Collins. After numerous break-ups and line-up changes they met up with Brian Kish A.K.A. "Tang" and began playing as "Davis High Tuesday" with a different drummer and bassist and Brian on backing vocals.

Diferences with the bassist forced them to ask Brian if he knew anyone who could play bass... it just so happened he did, Patrick. With One practice under their belts they set out to do the impossible... play the Odeon after two days of rehersal with a new bassist. Unfortunately their drummer had a graduation party to attend and couldn't make the show. So, Brian filled in and the final line-up was decided.

After writing new material with new people the band decided they'd need a new name. So, they let their fans pick it;

Divided Amongst the Stars is the eptome of 4 young adults resisting the temptation to fall in line and grow up. Its teenage angst in a 20 something's body. Its is soft and sensitive and hard, fast and aggressive all at the same time. They've played venues ranging from backyard parties to The Cove, The Odeon, The Phantasy, and The Agora. And have opened for such signed bands as River City High, Clearview Kills, and Chesterwhite and his Orchistra. And with a rapidly growing fan-base Divided Amongst the Stars is quickly becoming a band to watch.
