Distortion is a hard rock outift based out of Carbondale Illinois. Our music has mainstream touches, but it is unique all on its own. Distortion combines elements of Hard Rock, Punk, and Metal all into their own unique music. Matt Basler's unique voice and brilliant lyrics only add fuel to the bands powerful instrumental attack. Not to be outdone, Adam Longuevilles heavy guitar sound along with Tony's slap bass style and Elliott's hard hitting drum style all add to the Distortion experience. Their original songs have been compared to the likes of Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, and Seether. Watch for Distortion around the area and make sure to check them out. Their live show has drawn rave reviews as a great all around rock and roll show full with guitar/drum solos, great cover songs, along with great originals.
