With a 2010 release of the new single "Follow Me," peaking up to #22 on the National Billboard Christian Rock Charts (09/18/10), and spending 16 weeks in the Top 30-Distal is firing up a resurgent energy and adrenaline; a breakout of room-rattling guitars with big, defining, and intense rock attitude. Their mission: To connect inspirational Hard-rock to the Hard-hearted.
Hailing from Edmond, OK, Distal already has the release of the finely produced short album âTomorrow Mayâ under its belt. The EP (Produced by Craig Alvin & Daniel Chrisman) has a unique spin of modern rock toying with several venues of the rock spectrum. It's blaring, blistering, crunchy, and in your face. Right from the outset of the EP Tomorrow May appears the sonic hard rock track, âDenver Is Burning.â The song billows with a low-profile sizzle, while the big, succinct cracks of its accentuation keeps you alert and on your toes; Evident by its featuring on Versailles Records "Glory Rock Volume 1/2" Internationally distributed compilation CD and as the theme song for the KrazyWake Productions wakeboarding video shot in Lake Apache, AZ.
Distal has Toured w/ I Am Empire & Silverline & has shared the stage with National Artists: Skillet, Red, 10 Years, Since October, Drowning Pool, Rev Theory, Sick Puppies, We Are The Fallen, Bryan "Head" Welch, FireFlight, Kutless, Decyfer Down, Anew Revolution, Seventh Day Slumber, Disciple, Thousand Foot Krutch, Cinder Road, Faktion, Lynam, EvansBlue, Falling Up, Stellar Kart, Chasen, The Letter Black, Everyday Sunday, Day Of Fire, Superchick, Building 429, Inhabited, Detour 180, Subseven, Hyperstatic Union, The Wedding, Spoken, Children 18:3, Until June and many more
