Welcome to Discount Firearm. Formed in 2003 DFA spent several years writing music before performing. In the summer of 2005 a second guitar was added and Scott took over for bass guitar. Wile developing their sound the band has been playing out in Stl with a large variety of independent bands and a few national acts ( theAudition, The Reputation, The Shocker) DFA is a rock band with emo/indy/punk influences but in the age of ever increasing sub genres they try not to tie themselves down with labeling. They want to write and perform the music that fits their personalities.
