Disco Bloodbath started when Nat, Jeremy and Taylor went to school together and formed a band (Nat also playing with the now defunct Morrow). They added drummer Nick and played at their school talent show, but accomplished little else. After dabbling in songwriting throughout much of the year, Calum joined the band, replacing Nick on drums. With Calum they played their first real gig at the Atlantic Beach Club in March 2005, their set consisting of some covers and broken original songs. After taking several months to write songs and rehearse, the band recorded their first CD, a 4 song demo with Geoff Nielsen entitled "Cars Kill EP" (contact any member of the band for info on how to get a copy). The band returned to playing live starting with a battle of the bands, then proceeded to play around Hampton Roads at venues including Volume CD Exchange, Sweet Caroline's a couple more dates at the Atlantic Beach Club. Calum left the band after their last show to date at Relative Theory Records.
