Dilemma Theory Zero is a solo music project that begun in 2006. Originally just for fun Dilemma Theory Zero now wants to bring music to the myspace masses and beyond. Arriveing online in May 2008 DTZ blogged extensively but not much else happened. After a nearly 3 month break from October to December 2008, Dilemma Theory Zero is back! Its difficult to categorise or otherwise ‘pigeonhole’ Dilemma Theory Zero especially with a genre description of ‘Alternative/ Experimental/ Other’. Dilemma Theory Zero offers a vague explination: "Alternative shows DTZ’s trying to sound like nothing else out there- and succeed at it! Which is the difficult part, Experimental is pretty self explanatory. Its all about experimenting until I find that elusive ‘signature’ sound that will set Dilemma Theory Zero apart from the masses". DTZ concludes "Other is trying to appeal to as many people but on your own terms, keeping to the sound I want without compromise that ‘oh if I just changed that one thing lots more people might listen to my music’. But then again I could change that one thing and people might not take any notice. The point is its about trying to create your own niche in whatever genre people want to put you in. Truth is everyone wants to be their own ‘genre’ and not sound like anyone else around or in their ‘scene’". What also helps is that Dilemma Theory Zero is a one human ArMy. Meaning everything is written, performed, engineered, produced, mixed, mastered, designed and whatever else that needs doing by Dilemma Theory Zero. Love it or Hate it you know who’s responsible! Oh and all music by DTZ will be self released (Old skool DIY!). Dilemma Theory Zero is currently reworking many aspects of this project.
