Hey.
I have had a passion for music all my life. I started with piano which I started playing at age 8. Then when I was 12 I picked up the alto saxaphone for 3 and a half years. When I was 14 I needed a new challenge so I decided to try learning the guitar. I saved up and bought a crappy beginners electric guitar and taught myself how to play. Everything felt right, although I was sometimes frustrated with it, I learned how to play, and I love it. When I was 15 my best friend and I decided to start a band. I play guitar and she sings. We went through a few different bass players but weren't too happy with them, so we stuck to vocals and guitar. A few songs later and we were preforming at our school, and in a couple local coffee shops. I am so scared of being on stage, but once I get on, I never want to get off. I love the adrenaline and knowing that if you mess up, you mess up, too bad. Now I am looking for a new challenge in my music. I love guitar too much to try another instrument, so I thought, why don't I try singing. It has been a fear all my life. To sing infront of others, for people to even hear me sing! It scares me to death. So why not try it out, right? All of my songs are written (lyrics and music), played and recorded by me. It doesn't seem like it, but it takes a long time to put one song together. All of my songs start of as poems. Then I think, hey, that sounds like a song. Then I pick up my guitar and just mess around. Sometimes my songs come in a couple minutes. Sometimes it takes hours, days or months for me to find something I'm happy with. I have an 8 track recording studio, so I plug in my guitar and record the music, then I plug in my mic and record the vocals. I put it on the computer and play around with it in Garageband until I'm happy and then I have a song. I know my voice isn't the greatest. You don't have to tell me. But I have passion and I love doing it so just listen to some of my stuff and if you like it, tell me!
