Pop Punk / Rock / Powerpop
November 2008
Hi - I'm Dfactor, a rock and roll guy, now based in Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ. During 2006, I covered some of my fave rock pop punk and roll songs throughout the year.
Here's the month-by-month rundown of the series:
Cheap Trick - Auf Wiedersehen
Todd Rundgren - I Saw the Light
The Replacements - Color Me Impressed
Guided by Voices - The Brides Have Hit Glass
Husker Du - Pink Turns to Blue
New Order - Love Vigilantes
Mott the Hoople - All the Young Dudes
Billy Bragg - A New England/What Have I Said Now?(The Wedding Present)
Screams - Paper Dolls
Edison Lighthouse - Love Grows (Where my Rosemary Goes)
The Jam - That's Entertainment
The Seeds - Pushin' Too Hard
I finished the series with a live show at Pianos in New York in December 2006 - Check a live video clip from that night over at YouTube.
There's More!
Pop over to my MySpace site to hear my original songs. Songs from my 2008 CD "Say Yeah!" are waiting there for you to give a listen. There's also a couple more over at my SoundClick site, including "Shine" for those seeking a tasty treat! (Click on music link)
