What's up, Purevolume? We're a band from Pittsburgh PA called Devils Under the Influence. We're an all original, 3 piece band. We're starting to blow up on the PA scene and are looking to make an impact on the music world! BIO

Rising out of the ashes of the grunge/hard rock era, Devils Under the Influence blends the old sound of grunge with a new rock twist. Frontman, D.Razr, had been involved in the music scene for awhile with other bands and could not find one that fit the sound he envisioned. Longing for the sound of the rock music he grew up with, he recruited Aaron, the band's original bassist. After playing together for awhile, they stumbled upon Full Force Entertainment and their would be producer, the Beat Supreme. Together, they recorded D.U.I.'s debut EP, Apocalyptic Smile. In mid 2007, Junior was named the permanent drummer. In late 2007, Aaron amicably departed from the band, replaced by new bassist, Thump. Some of D.U.I.'s major accomplishments have been playing Faded Fest at the Matrix, winning 1st place in Supernova's Battle of the Bands Pittsburgh, playing the Rex Theater and the Shadow Lounge to name a small few. Enter A&R Mike Admani. He was at the Rex Theater show and was so impressed with the young rockers, he decided to represent them and help them in thier meteoric rise to the top! Now that the new lineup is locked and loaded, D.U.I. is ready to roll over the nation. With their guitar-shredding sound and in your face attitude, Devils Under the Influence are looking to put Pittsburgh back on the map and prove to everyone that hard rock is not dead!
