Alfred's Destiny, Pedro's Legacy, Eternal Dynasty: God's gift of music, and how I use it to His glory.

Alfred Segovia co-founded Journey of Believers with close friends Mitchell Holly and Casey Williams in 2003, confident that the music ministry was the place for him. After a two year stint with J.O.B., and one album recorded with the band, Alfred went away to college to pursue a different avenue in music. When hardship arose, Alfred was left with little alternative than to take a break from college and pursue the performance career.

Currently, Alfred plays guitar for his church worship team, where he has made new friends in the music ministry, all across the board. With the help of all of these wonderful people, Alfred is being encouraged daily to keep praising God in his music, to keep it pure and simple.

The project name reflects Alfred's trifold outlook on the musical call on his life: It's his joy and destiny in life to praise God through music, which is actually a legacy he picked up from his late grandfather, Pedro Villarreal, Jr. It's also his desire to pass the love for praising God through the generations of physical children and spiritual children to come. The first two parts have also been names of his different guitars throughout the years, all officially named the Max Axe Series: Max Axe Destiny, a 2001 Alvarez RD10, decommissioned in late 2003; Max Axe Pedro's Legacy, a 2004 Fender DG10-CE, currently in commision.
