Desislava Dobreva is an award winning singer and composer, known throughout Bulgaria where she has anchored her own television show, in addition to participating in the highest-rated program on Bulgarian TV Slavis Show. She has performed in front of audiences exceeding 50,000 people, including such high profile events as the Easter
Concert (2003) and the New Years Concerts (2002 and 2003) at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia. As a lead singer of Ku-Ku Band and Slavis Show during for four years, her performances have reached millions of people, and are showcased in three CDs recorded with: Prima Patriot (2004), Vox Populi (2003) and The New Barbarians (2001).
During her entire career as a musician, Ms. Dobreva actively promoted Bulgarian musical achievement throughout Europe. Through high-profile concerts at Londons Royal Albert Hall with the "Bulgarian Legend" Dance Show (2004), and at Astoria Hall with Ku-Ku Band Orchestra (2004), she attracted much attention from the public and press. Ms. Dobreva also starred in a 3-hour talk show on Bulgarian National TV (BNT), which was broadcast via satellite to more than 50 countries worldwide including the USA and Canada. In this show she introduced Bulgarian culture to millions of viewers, and promoted the many achievements of modern Bulgarian society.
Dessy Dobreva is an exceptionally talented musician who has dedicated her life to music and singing.
