Desecrate was established in April 2005 by Oguz Bulgurlular in Istanbul. Afterwads Tugrul Gunes joined the band as a lead guitar player. Subsequently, Akcan Ergin who was the drummer in Obstinacy became a member of the band and they then finally got Gurkan Yucel who worked together with Tugrul as a bass guitarist. In this way, they increased the speed of their covers and compositions of Melodic Death. Eventually, they found their vocal Artug Okay. He played a bass guitar in Sahte Raki and Sabhankra. Tugrul Gunes quit the band due to some disagreements in July. Desecrate has found their new guitarist Zafer Demiroren, who was guitar player in Heteredox, and they will continue their concerts harder and stronger than before. Desecrates first concert was on 26th March 2006 at Dorock Bar. Now, they are still working hard for their new compositions and live performances.
