In the summer of 2000 delux emerges from the city of Tijuana, Mexico. With undeniable southern California punk rock influence and 80's new wave roots, delux brings an infectious array of melodic punk rock repertoire and electrifying energy to every show. Adopting the DIY work ethic of neighboring punk bands to the immediate north, delux spent half of 2004 on tour in Mexico and the US. With 6 tours, 160+ shows, 2 videos on MTV Latino and Telehit, and a highly successful self titled album in 2004 (named TOP 10 album of the year by PUNKINTERNATIONAL.COM), delux quickly become a household name in Mexico. Delux is now focusing on their USA debut album release; with videos already on MTVes and FUSE (MARCHA!), a 2 month tour that will span the entire USA, a groundbreaking appearance at this years Warped Tour in which they became only the 3rd All Spanish Singing band in its 11 year history to perform. A #8 debut album on the Radio & Records Spanish Alt/Rock charts, and now at #1 in the R&R charts for the 4th straight week, Delux is quickly breaking ground as well as language barriers in the United States. A new year will another season of constant touring not only in Mexico, but also USA, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, and in Europe delux will be visiting England, France and Spain.
