Delft was formed in the summer of 2005 by current and ex-members of Dino Velvet, East of the Wall, Post Break Tragedy and Advantage to Crush. Coming from bands that specialized in various forms of metal, punk and general panic-attack music, we decided to play something that was the complete opposite of what we were used to doing. And it turned out that we really liked it because we're still doing it.

Our first full-length, tentatively titled "If Anything Should Happen" will be released shortly. It was recorded at the Machine Shop (Hoboken, NJ) between January and June of 2009. We are in the final stages of recording the record, and after that it won't be a long wait at all. Some of the things that will come along with this release are a new myspace layout, new merch, and limited touring.

To date, we have played with Kaddisly, The Dear Hunter, Armor for Sleep, Mute Math, The Gaslight Anthem, Gifts from Enola, Lydia, Kayo Dot, and Auto Pilot, among many other excellent bands and friends. We've also appeared on the Vans Warped Tour (2007), Fearless Music TV (Fox Network, 2008) and the South By Southwest Music Festival (Austin, TX; 2008)
