Defaze was formed out of New York City and created in September 2006 by (Singer, Songwriter, and Guitarist) Rob Defaze. Since 2006, Defaze wrote, arranged, recorded, and performed all instruments to roughly 50 demo tracks and began shopping the songs to producers for the future upcoming album.


After a trip to Fox's American Idol, Rob Defaze teamed up with Producer Roee Star, Mixer Daniel J from (Against The Wall / VMM Records) and drummers Andres Concillio and Tomer Ram to record the first full length Defaze album titled "The Recreation" Upstate in New York. The debut consists of 11 hard hitting rock songs that shed everything from aggression to emotion and will be available

Since the finish of the album, the Defaze family welcomed drummer Andres Concillio, guitarist Raphael Guedes, & bassist Tom Buchmueller into the new stage and face of Defaze bringing a very intense and powerful live rock show. The band has since been touring and playing out live in support of the upcoming album, has drawn attention with radio play of the single's "Not Giving Up" & "You & Yourself," and a huge buzz over the new summer anthem "Home For The Summer"
