The "Owls" are as much of the swampy bayou of Louisiana and mud from the Delta as they are of the deep, dark soil of Illinois. They play an eclectic mix of traditional American Roots music including; Traditional New Orleans Jazz, Pre-War Blues, Western Swing, Bluegrass, Irish and washboard/jug band music. Otherwise..."the Jabs between the chunk chunk".

I've seen and heard this band a number of times at a great little club called "The California Clipper" in Chicago. Simply wonderful! They perform the second Friday of each month, starting 'bout 10, and NO COVER. Go once and I guarantee you will be back. Bring your significant other and dance the night away. Mar 15
