Well hi! We're Decaying Lawn, the best band you've heard since... well whatever you listened to last. We don't take ourselves seriously, at all, and we're more concerned about artwork, strange lyrics, song titles, our band name, and the strange nature of our personalities than the actual quality of the music.

Once upon a time, Brian and Charlie were talking about how Norma Jean writes their lyrics and Charhead was like, "they probably all go around in a circle, each person writing one word"

Both hosers thought that was an amusing idea, so they began, each person writing a line for the song. Thus the first Decaying Lawn song was brought into existence: Slaughterhouse Splattered Without Remnants of A Dying Myth (SSWRoADM for short.)

Nothing came of it until months later, however, when, much to the regret of the rest of the world, the two moose flossers decided to put the words to music and record a real live splatteringly annoying song! Slowly but surely, more lyrics and more hippopotamatic songs came into the world, and in time, the first Decaying Lawn album was made; Fury of the Doorknobs was released in November 2007.

Nowadays, the band members roam the wild, never with any particular plan in mind, but always coming up with a song every once in a while.
