Dear DarkStar formed in November 2004 when four long time friends got together with the idea of creating a modern day rock n roll band. Each member of the band had made his time by playing in various other bands and side-projects and by promoting hardcore/ heavy rock shows and events, always driven by the love for rock music and the goodtimes it brings.

So when Dear DarkStar got together soon begun playing shows and festivals inside and outside Greece, sharing the stage with the likes of Avril Lavigne, Agnostic Front, Converge, Cataract, Angel Crew, Backfire, Stretch Armstrong, Murphy's Law, Poison The Well and Sick Of It All among others.

Having made a name for themselves, Dear DarkStar entered the studio to record their demo, being helped by their friends and bandmates from The Devilworx, Fotis Bernando ( The Devilworx/ Nightrage) who makes a guest vocal appearance and Seth who took care of the band's artwork and photos (Paradise Lost, Oceansize, Fony, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn).

2010 finds the band ready for the next step, which means recording an album, having a label, playing even more shows and making their love for music a full time reality.
