Acoustic / Christian / Emo
Deanna Tassoni is a 17-year-old girl who sings, and writes her own music. She performs weekly at Potbelly Sandwich Works on Crooks and Big Beaver. She can also be found playing guitar every few weeks at THE EDGE Monday nights from 7:30-9 at Kensington Church.
Would You Leave was the first song she officially recorded in a friend's basement. It's a passionate song about the feelings of hurt and rejection teenagers often have. "It's a really powerful song for me, because i wrote it when I was in a difficult period of my life. I realized that my friends will always let me down, and I spend all my time investing in the friendships that will fade away when there is an everlasting friendship that God is willing to have with me, but all I ever do is let him down. The "words so rarely spoken" are words of sorry and surrender to his never failing love."
