Daze of Dawn hits you like a raging tsunami, only to soothe you like your mother's milk. Based in Valencia Spain, this heavy, alternative, retro-rock band have been stunning audiences since 2001.

Formed when Canadian front-man Klyde arrived in Spain after some years living and performing in Japan, DOD have recorded and produced 4 albums, played in 2 of the country’s largest rock festivals (Festimad and Vinarock), and have appeared and performed on a variety of national radio and TV programs. The band has toured extensively throughout Spain, the Netherlands, and other European countries.

Daze of Dawn is superb, original rock music - funky grooves of rock, grunge, metal, folk-rock and blues. They stand out from other groups in Spain for the simple fact that they don’t SOUND Spanish. The band's "authentic" English lyrics and vocals give DOD an international appeal; making their personal, unique, and not-quite-commercial sound one of the hottest exports in the country.

Their latest album "YETI NATION", released in September 2008, takes the listener on a new sonic adventure where the band and music have morphed into something altogether new yet timelessly familiar - weaving a sound and style that could sit comfortably with the great hard-rock albums of the 70's or 90’s. YETI NATION was recorded live in just 7 days.

YETI NATION features the hard-to-classify BREAKING DOWN, retro-groove tracks THE CODE and NOVOCAIN, the relentless, "guitar-hero" track MAXIMUM HEADROOM, and a monster 6.5 minute opening song SCARLESS LIFE. The band also dish-up a powerful cover of NEW ORLEANS IS SINKING by Canadian super-group The Tragically Hip. And, if you listen very closely to the title track YETI NATION, you can just make out the sound of the Yeti lurking in the background.
