In less than a year Dawn of Chaos have taken the U.K by storm!!!

Hailing from Hartlepool in the north east of England. Dawn of Chaos are ready to step up to the plate with their own technically brutal version of old school death metal. Dawn of Chaos formed as a complete band in June 2004 based on the foundations of an earlier version of guitarist Ken Turners previous band. The current band line up consists of Ken Turner on guitar, Dan Jones on bass, Paul Hartburn on vocals and Ben Alldred on drums. Following nearly a year of writing and rehearsing material Dawn of Chaos played there first live show in aid of cancer research in February 2005 organised by guitarist Ken Turner in memory of his late Father. The success of this first show gained Dawn of Chaos instant popularity in the north east metal scene. Following a string of gigs around the area including shows in Newcastle, Hartlepool, Wakefield and Stockton Dawn of Chaos went from strength to strength gaining themselves a support slot with Jairo Guedz (ex Sepultura) current band Eminence on of their European tour dates.A highlight for Dawn of Chaos so far was a supporting slot next to Tomas Lindbergs (ex At the Gates) current band The Great Deceiver on their recent 2005 tour of the UK! Dawn of Chaos performed a version of At the Gates classic blinded by fear with Tomas Lindberg joining them on stage to sing. The Closing months of 2005 saw Dawn of Chaos not only secure themselves a supporting slot with UK Extreme Metalcore icons Gutworm but also they opened the terroizer sponsored stage at this years Damnation festival in Manchester (featuring such bands as Entombed,Raging Speedhorn,Gorerotted,Sikth). Dawn of Chaos are currently recording there forthcoming EP the dead shall walk the earth which is due for release in December 2005. To finish off 2005, Dawn of Chaos where voted the 7th best unsigned band in the Terrorizer 2005 poll.
