DAREDEVIL JANE was asked to be the solo opening band
for Tom DeLonge's (lead singer of Blink 182 )
newest project Angels and Airwaves on May 5 in San Francisco. The
historic Great American Music Hall(built in early 1907) was at its capacity with 5000 square feet of dirty Rock N' Roll filling every ones ears to the brim. And you better
believe, DDJ did nothing short of showing Nor-Cal how to Rock the "F"-out.
Leading the heavy hitters of DDJ is Adrian Gunner on vocals, Micah Anderson on lead
Guitar, Matt Anderson on rhythm guitar, Chris O'Brien on bass, and Chris Light
smashing the drums. Together DAREDEVIL JANE is the band that gives you a hope for
another generation of rock anthem hits that your grandkids will be singing on the way to school.
San Francisco's music heart was open and it took in Gunner's strong
vocals while paying close attention to Micah's screeching guitar solos. All this mended by a ultra tight rhythm section delivering the kind of melodies that are stuck in your head for days. The crowd loved DDJ and it showed.
The first 10 rows of kids where up in arms the second the band hit the stage
chanting " Mexico" (DDJ's hit song). They played an amazing 40 minute set
that prepped the crowd for a feeding frenzy once AVA hit the stage. It is safe to say that the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco won't soon forget DAREDEVIL JANE..... and either will you.
