PureVolume

So I tried really hard last winter to do my music and play a bunch of shows and I ended up giving up. I always let other people's opinion drag me down and then I give up and let it get the best of me. For some reason I started writing again (I don't think I'll ever stop writing) and tonight I played an open mic night at Borders. I played a new song, "Mistakes," along with some of my other songs and people actually enjoyed it. I had people come up to me and compliment me on being "awesome" and someone even told me that I should be getting payed for this and they wanted a CD (I wish I'd get paid for it). That has never happened to me before.

Well anyways, this blog is just to let everybody know, if anybody actually really looks at my profile, listens to my music, and reads this that I'm going to try again. If you pray please pray that I don't give up this time and I put a lot more dedication, passion, drive, consistency, and don't give up this time. Well I hope everybody is doing well and I hope that some of you in my area will come and see me play some shows once I start putting up some dates.
